Electrical Engineering and Information Technology are having an ever-increasing influence on the development of our society. Our researchers tackle complex challenges in the fields of electronics and photonics (e.g., ultra-low-power computing units and data transmitting devices), information and communication (e.g., autonomous systems, machine learning, computer vision), energy (e.g., electricity generation, storage, and distribution), as well as biomedical engineering and neuroinformatics (e.g., novel medical imaging techniques and brain-inspired computing circuits), thereby strengthening our leading position in research and teaching.
We offer a range of events for prospective students. In addition, we are happy to give school classes and other interested groups an insight into current, trend-setting research topics at our department that will sustainably shape our world.
