D-ITET is delighted to present Nick McKeown as a new honorary doctor of ETH Zurich. The professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Stanford University is best known for his groundbreaking work in the area of computer networks, especially for his contributions to the architecture of Internet-routers and "Software-Defined Networking".

BASF and Volkswagen present Science Award Electrochemistry to Prof. Vanessa Wood
The Science Award Electrochemistry honors outstanding research results in the area of lithium-ion batteries. The Award ceremony took place at Stanford University, California, lead by the Chairmen of the companies BASF and Volkswagen, Dr. Kurt Bock and Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn.
