Best ESSCIRC Paper Award for Integrated Information Processing (IIP) Group

Together with other group members, doctoral student Oscar Castañeda from the Integrated Information Processing Group (IIP), headed by Prof. Christoph Studer, won the Best ESSCIRC Paper Award. ESSCIRC, the European Solid-State Circuits Conference took place virtually in September 2021.

The award was granted for the paper "A Resolution-Adaptive 8mm2 9.98Gb/s 39.7pJ/b 32-Antenna All-Digital Spatial Equalizer for mmWave Massive MU-MIMO in 65nm CMOS". The integrated circuit was developed in Prof. Studer's group together with co-authors from Cornell University.
