Christian Schaffner: A perfect energy supply is theoretically feasible
The problem of the feared power shortage seems to have been solved this winter, but what about the future? Christian Schaffner of the Energy Science Center believes that a near-perfect energy supply is possible in theory. He explains what is needed for this.
Safe, cheap and climate-friendly: according to Christian Schaffner, Executive Director of the Energy Science Center, such an energy supply is possible in theory. However, it depends on how quickly and well the current climate strategy is implemented.
The goal is to move away from fossil fuels and to rapidly expand renewable energies. This requires not only photovoltaic plants, wind turbines and storage capacity, but also experts.
