School visit to ETH Zurich: Learning what is possible with Electrical Engineering
How does autonomous driving work? And can robots already play football autonomously? A group of high-school students from Zurich's MNG Rämibühl got to the bottom of these questions and encountered the study programme Electrical Engineering and Information Technology first-hand.

MNG Rämibühl had the opportunity to visit ETH Zurich on February 7. The group visiting the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering learned interesting facts about the study programme and how Electrical Engineering is applied in research and everyday life.
Master's student and MNG Rämibühl alumnus Jonas Nann introduced the study programme. Following the presentation, one group of pupils had the chance to observe how Electrical Engineering students and researchers tackle autonomous driving problems at the Computer Vision Lab. At the Automatic Control Laboratory, the other group of pupils learned how the NAO robots of ETH's Nomadz team train for the upcoming Robocup soccer tournaments.
