ProTRR has been awarded "Top Picks in Hardware and Embedded Security"

ProTRR, the first principled in-DRAM mitigation against Rowhammer attacks, has been described in a paper published by Prof. Kaveh Razavi's COMSEC group. It has heavily influenced the design of follow-up work on secure mitigations in both academia and industry.

by Stefanie Paul-Cavallier

ProTRR presents a principled in-DRAM mitigation against Rowhammer, a DRAM vulnerability caused by interferences between different rows of data stored in DRAM.

external page Top Picks recognizes the best of the best in hardware security, spanning the gamut from hardware to microarchitecture to embedded systems. Top Picks will be selected from hardware security papers that have appeared in leading conferences/journals, including but not limited to top security (e.g., IEEE S&P, CCS), architecture (e.g., ISCA, ASPLOS), CAD (e.g., ICCAD, DAC, DATE), and hardware security (e.g., CHES) venues.

Congratulations!
