Alessandro Novello wins Hans-Eggenberger-Award 2024

Dr. Alessandro Novello, post-doc in the Integrated Devices, Electronics, And Systems (IDEAS) group led by Prof. Hua Wang, won the Hans-Eggenberger-Award 2024 for the outstanding results of his PhD research on record power density fully integrated power management circuits.

Dr. Alessandro Novello has been awarded the prestigious Hans-Eggenberger-Award for his dissertation "Analysis and Design of Fully Integrated DC-DC Converters Based on Electromagnetically Coupled Class-D LC Oscillators" completed at the Institute of Integrated Systems (IIS) under the supervision of Prof. Taekwang Jang.

The award also supports Dr. Novello's innovative project proposal on next-generation energy-efficient and highly dynamic SATCOM systems, with funding of up to CHF 100,000.

This recognition highlights Dr. Novello's significant contributions to electronic engineering and his potential to shape future energy-efficient technologies.
