Best Paper Award for Maitraya Desai at PowerTech 2025
Maitraya Desai, doctoral student at Prof. Gabriela Hug’s Power Systems Laboratory, has won the Basil Papadias Best Paper Award at PowerTech 2025 in Kiel, Germany.

Maitraya Desai received the Best Paper Award at PowerTech 2025 for his paper titled “Comparison of Current-Limiting Strategies for Grid-Forming Converters Under Grid Faults”. He conducted this work in collaboration with Ramona Stoll, Xiuqiang He, Prof. Florian Dörfler from the Automatic Control Laboratory, and Prof. Gabriela Hug, head of the Power Systems Laboratory.
