Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship granted to Katharina Ceesay-Seitz
Katharina Ceesay-Seitz, doctoral student in the COMSEC (Computer Security) Group by Prof. Kaveh Razavi, has been awarded a Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (QIF Europe) for her research proposal on a novel verification methodology for Spectre v2 mitigations.

Katharina Ceesay-Seitz’ proposal was the only one that was awarded a Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship in the cyber security domain. Each winning student receives $40,000 for the upcoming academic year and is paired with a Qualcomm researcher as a mentor to foster close collaboration with Qualcomm’s corporate research center.
