Visits at D-ITET for school classes and individual pupils
Tours for schools
For school classes we offer visits at our department. Usually, the visits take about 90min, either in the morning or afternoon. The visits are arranged on an individual basis. As the number of visits are limited, please get in touch with us as early as possible.
Before taking the visit at D-ITET, we recommend you to take a guided tour round ETH main building, organized by the services department. The guide will then accompany the group to the ETZ building at Gloriastrasse where D-ITET is located.
Possible key topics for visits:
- Artificial intelligence / Big data / Maching learning
- Autonomous driving
- Brain-machine interfaces (BMI)
- Digitalisation
- Electric mobility
- Energy turnaround
- Industry 4.0
- Internet of things (Iot)
- Personalised medicine

- Sensing
You may choose one or more of the above topics for your visit.

You are not sure whether a degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering at ETH is really the right thing for you? Want to clarify whether your expectations correspond to real student life?
A first year student can accompany you on a given morning, take you to lectures with him / her and answer any questions you may have. There is no better way to gain true insights into life at ETH and help you decide on your choice of subjects.
