D.A.CH Workshop for High Voltage Technology
Interesting exchange between the High Voltage Laboratories of TU Darmstadt, TU Graz and ETH Zurich at the first D.A.CH research workshop at D-ITET.
On June 8-10, 2015, delegates of the High Voltage Laboratories of three universities met for the first time at ETH Zurich for a workshop called D.A.CH.
PhD students of the Institute of High Voltage Engineering/TU Darmstadt, Germany (Head Prof. Volker Hinrichsen), PhD students of the Institute for High Voltage Engineering and System Management of TU Graz/Austria (Head Prof. Uwe Schichler) had been invited by the High Voltage Laboratory of ETH Zurich (Head Prof. Christian M. Franck) to join a research workshop.
Besides the professional aspect consisting of different presentations, lab tour and poster sessions, a recreational program including a city tour led by PhD students of the High Voltage Laboratory/ETH Zurich and a barbecue in the cozy cottage Hasenrain in Albisrieden was offered.
The workshop was very well received, another one will be planned in about a year in Graz, Austria.
