TIK Team wins Best Paper Award

A team of TIK researchers received a best paper award at the workshop IEEE SenseApp 2015.
Class of 1965 - Alumni Meeting

A group of French-speaking ETH alumni of 1965 came to visit ETH Zurich last week. The group of almost 20 ETH alumni also stopped by at D-ITET.

Zhenzhong Su (Institute for Geodesy and Photogrammetry, ETHZ), Tonio Gsell (Computer Engineering and Networks Laboratory TIK, ETHZ) and Alexander Wolf (Institute for Geodesy and Photogrammetry, ETHZ) won two prizes as an innovator group at the international European Satellite Navigation Competition (ESNC).
IIS team in Top 4 of Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge
The project "Self-sustainable smart wearable device with energy harvesting for context recognition applications" submitted by a team of PhD and Master students led by Dr. Michele Magno from the IIS laboratory has been selected in the Top 4 of the Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge - Europe Design Contest.
How to study successfully at D-ITET

For a successful start into the first year of studies, D-ITET offered in cooperation with SoC "How to successfully pass the first year" on 20 October. The event was very well received and attracted more than 150 students.

Yahia Hassan, Research Assistant at the Communication Technology Lab (IKT), and Prof. Armin Wittneben have recently received a Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC) 2015 in Hong Kong.
