IIS team in Top 4 of Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge

The project "Self-sustainable smart wearable device with energy harvesting for context recognition applications" submitted by a team of PhD and Master students led by Dr. Michele Magno from the IIS laboratory has been selected in the Top 4 of the Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge - Europe Design Contest.

The Texas Instruments Innovation Challenge (TIIC) – Europe Design Contest is a student competition, open for European universities (undergraduates and postgraduates). In the 2015 edition, 302 students in 96 project teams from 76 universities in 27 countries have submitted a project.

The competition is still on and the ETH team will have the chance to present the project to educators from all over Europe, TI Management and TI University Program representatives at the BMW World in Munich on 3 November 2015.
