Prof. Florian Dörfler receives Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award

Florian Dörfler receives the 2016 IEEE Circuits and Systems Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award for the paper "Kron Reduction of Graphs with Applications to Electrical Networks" (Co-Author: Francesco Bullo). The award recognizes the best paper published in the “Transactions on Circuits and Systems” publication.
Dr. Marco Zimmerling wins 2015 ACM SIGBED Paul Caspi Memorial Dissertation Award

Dr. Zimmerling receives the award for his thesis "End-to-end Predictability and Efficiency in Low-power Wireless Networks", which he completed at the Computer Engineering and Networks Lab, ETH Zurich. The award recognizes outstanding doctoral dissertations that significantly advance the state of the art in the science of embedded systems.
Prof. Göksel's group wins Spark Award
Prof. Göksel's group wins this year's Spark Award for an ultrasound-based breast imaging system as the "most promising ETH invention of the year". The Spark Award is one of the most prestigious awards of ETH.
Best poster award for team lead by Prof. Luca Benini
The author team consisting of Lorenzo Spadaro, Michele Magno and Prof. Luca Benini won the best poster award at the 15th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Information Processing in Sensor Networks (IPSN '16).
