Danny Luu receives best „young scientist“ paper award
Danny Luu, PhD student at the Integrated Systems Lab in the Analog and Mixed-Signal Design Group of Prof. Qiuting Huang, has received the best «young scientist» award at the European Solid-State Circuit Conference in Leuven, Belgium.
He received the award for this paper “Background calibration using noisy reference ADC for a 12 b 600 MS/s 2 x TI SAR ADC in 14nm CMOS FinFET”. The handing over of the plaque was at the ESSCIRC 2018 in Dresden, Germany. In his work – in collaboration with IBM Rüschlikon – Danny presents a special technique to linearize high-speed, time-interleaved analog-to-digital converters that comes at low overhead in power and circuit area.
Congratulations!
