Clever signal encoding for telecommunications

Prof. Lukas Novotny and Shawn Divitt from the Photonics Laboratory present a new, complementary method to meet the increasing demand for transmission capacity in telecommunications. Their invention had been among the finalists of the ETH's Spark Award 2019.
