Florian Dörfler, Professor at the Automatic Control Laboratory (IFA), has received the IFAC Manfred Thoma Medal and the EUCA European Control Award. Both prizes are awarded to scientists under 40.

2019 First Place Prize Paper Award for PES researchers
Researchers at the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory (PES), led by Prof. Johann Kolar, have been awarded the 2019 First Place Prize Paper Award for IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics for their paper "Performance Evaluation of Series-Compensated IPT Systems for Transcutaneous Energy Transfer".
