Fascination Electrical Engineering
On 14 March 15 ETH students and apprentices from ABB were trained in a workshop at Wyss Center Zurich to become “Magic Cube” coaches in high schools. Magic Cube is a teaching tool developed by D-ITET, ABB and mint & pepper. It was introduced in fall 2020, and recently all twelve modules have been successfully completed.
Based on current teaching and learning research, the "Magic Cube" uses a playful approach to teach junior high and high school students the basics of electrical engineering and awaken their interest in electrical engineering and information technology.
