Elvis Nava: Teaching robots to carry out oral and written commands
Elvis Nava, doctoral student in Prof. Benjamin Grewe's group at the Institute of Neuroinformatics, is the person controlling the robot hand developed by ETH start-up Faive Robotics. He sends the robots to "training camps" where they learn to combine image, text and motion data.
Elvis Nava is an ETH AI Center Doctoral Fellow and part of Prof. Benjamin Grewe's group at the external page Institute of Neuroinformatics and Prof. Robert Katzschmann's Soft Robotics Lab. His research focus lies at the intersection of Meta-Learning, Representation Learning and Robotics.
