Christine Haller joined the Institute for Integrated Systems on 8 March 1993. In the years since her appointment, many innovations and developments have taken place. Especially for the administrative staff, many things have changed in recent years.

Thanks to the many visitors from all over the world to the Institute, Christine has been able to have many interesting conversations with guests. This has allowed her to meet not only new people, but also new cultures.

Politics was and still is important to Christine. From 1998 to 2013, she was a member of the Aargau parliament. This was not a matter of course and Christine is still very grateful for the opportunity today.

In December 1998, Christine was elected to the Departmental Conference. Until March 2023 she was a member of the DK as deputy for the administrative-technical staff. It was never as hectic as in the Grand Council, but now and then there were somewhat heated but always fair discussions. She always enjoyed taking part in these meetings and sincerely wishes all DK members all the best for the future.

A new phase in Christine's life is about to begin. She is looking forward to more time with her partner and her cat Mia, for travelling at home and abroad, for her garden, for books and handicrafts.
