Pragash Sivananthaguru: developing underwater robots for diving

Tethys, an ETH spin-off, has created an underwater robot capable of operating in hazardous conditions that would pose risks to human divers. Pragash Sivananthaguru, one of the founders, did his Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering at D-ITET and then completed a master's degree in biomedical engineering.
Nako Nakatsuka is among the winners of the 2023 ACS Nano Lectureship

Nako Nakatsuka, senior scientist at the Laboratory of Biosensors and Bioelectrics (LBB), is awarded the 2023 ACS Nano Lectureship for her groundbreaking work of unraveling the molecular interactions of aptamers, which are DNA-based recognition elements that exhibit high specificity and selectivity in capturing small-molecule targets.

Christine Haller retires after 30 years at the Integrated Systems Laboratory
