Jente Clarysse among the latest recipients of the INSPIRE Potentials – MARVEL Master's Fellowship
We are pleased to announce that D-ITET Master's student Jente Clarysse is among the latest recipients of the INSPIRE Potentials – MARVEL Master's Fellowship. Following an early application Jente has joined the group of Prof. Mathieu Luisier end of April 2023 for a 6-month Master's research project. Congratulations!
The total number of fellowships granted since the initiative's launch in 2016 reaches 47. The fellowships cover a six-month duration and provide 12,000 CHF, along with an additional 500 CHF for travel expenses. Moreover, tuition fees and medical insurance costs are also covered separately for non-EU participants.
About INSPIRE Potentials — MARVEL Master's Fellowships
Introduced in 2016, the INSPIRE Potentials — MARVEL Master's Fellowships have been designed to empower outstanding female students in the field of simulation and modeling. These fellowships offer the opportunity to conduct their Master's research projects within the NCCR MARVEL laboratories. With two calls per year, the initiative has so far granted 47 fellowships to students across 7 institutions and 21 different MARVEL groups. Notably, 12 of these fellows have already progressed to the PhD level within a current or past MARVEL group, while at least 11 others pursued their PhD studies outside MARVEL but in a related field. For those who choose to continue their doctoral studies within the domain of MARVEL, the INSPIRE Potentials project plays a significant role in their decision-making process.
