Researchers around EMPA Professor Mickael Perrin, Assistant Professor of Low-dimensional Quantum Electronics at D-ITET, have succeeded in attaching electrodes to individual atomically precise nanoribbons, paving the way for precise characterization of the fascinating ribbons and their possible use in quantum technology.

Jente Clarysse among the latest recipients of the INSPIRE Potentials – MARVEL Master's Fellowship

The third edition of the European Hyperloop Week took place in Edinburgh, Scotland from July 17-23, 2023. Student engineering teams from around the world presented their innovative prototypes to representatives of industry and the public. Swissloop, the engineering student project of ETH Zurich caused a sensation again this year and won several awards.
