Dr. Eduardo Gallestey Alvarez

Eduardo Gallestey gradutated of Mechanics and Mathematics at the Moscow State University V. Lomonosov , and obtained a Ph.D. degree in control theory at the Mathematics Department of the University of Bremen, Germany.. After graduation he joined as Post Doc the Engineering Department of the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia. 

In 2000 he begun working at the ABB Research Center in Baden, Switzerland, where his research interests included robust model-based control techniques. In 2003 Eduardo moved to one of the business units of ABB, where he performed in positions related to Product Management and R&D, in 2016 reaching the level of Global Technology Manager for Mining, P&P and Metals.

In 2019 Eduardo left ABB and joined Honeywell International as Engineering Director, where he is responsible for the R&D pipeline and Intellectual Property in the area of Product Measurements and Controls.

Since 2003 Eduardo Gallestey has been lecturer for nonlinear control at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
