Power Electronic Systems Lab (PES) in the finals of GOOGLE Little Box Challenge
The Power Electronics Systems Laboratory lead by Prof. Johann Kolar has made it into the finals of the Little Box Challenge together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (Team of Prof. Hoene) and Fraza (F. Zajc). More than 650 teams worldwide participated in the competition, initiated by GOOGLE and IEEE, for the construction of the smallest 2kW solar inverter. The winner will receive one million US dollars.
