As of 1 August 2018, Prof. Vanessa Wood has taken over the Electronics Laboratory from Prof. Gerhard Tröster.

Gregor Schuhknecht, doctoral student at the Institute of Neuroinformatics, was selected as one of 600 students world wide to attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting 2018.
OSA Advanced Photonics Congress concluded on Friday
The OSA Advanced Photonics Congress, taking place from 2 to 5 July 2018 in Zurich, addressed the many aspects of photonic device research and development and their use in networks. D-ITET was proud to be a partner of this event, which was organized and headed by Prof. Juerg Leuthold.
Fresh energy for teaching and research: two new professors at D-ITET
The ETH board appointed two new professors at D-ITET: Dr Taekwang Jang as Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Analogue and Mixed Signal Interfaces; and Professor Daniel Razansky, successor of Prof. Markus Rudin, as Full Professor of Biomedical Imaging.
David Menzi, PhD Student at PES, has received the ETEL Prize 2018
David Menzi, PhD Student at the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory, has won the ETEL Prize 2018 for his Master Thesis "Design and Realization of a Fuel-Cell Powered High-Speed Motor Drive". He received the award during the Master Ceremony held on 22 June 2018.
