Live from the TV studio: Prof. Christian Franck presents the "Magic Cube"
On 1 November 2020, the new teaching tool "Magic Cube" was introduced in a live presentation from the SRF TV studio during the Digital Days 2020. It was developed jointly by D-ITET, ABB and "mint & pepper" and aims to teach high school students the basics of electrical engineering and awaken their interest in the field.
The twelve modules teach the technical basics of electrical engineering using a playful approach. The "Magic Cube" is expected to be used in Swiss schools from February 2021. The modules will be supervised by students from ETH Zurich and trainees from ABB.
