Industry Internship and Career Planning
A degree from ETH Zurich offers many interesting career opportunities, and an internship in industry during your studies is a good start to your future career.
MyStudies – the Online Tool for your Studies
The web application myStudies allows students and doctoral candidates to manage their studies quickly and reliably online, e.g., semester registration, course and exam enrolment, and access to learning materials. It can also be used to create transcripts of records and submit diploma applications at the end of the programme.
Student Services
The Academic Services at ETH Zurich support students and prospective students in all administrative matters relating to their studies.
In particular, the Registrar's Office is the first point of contact for all administrative matters relating to studies.
Scholarships and interest-free loans from cantons and foundations help to cover living and study costs. The ETH Student Finance Office offers individual advice on suitable financing options.
The Student Exchange Office provides information for ETH students who wish to study abroad and for foreign students who wish to study at ETH.

Overview of Student Associations
The AMIV (Academic Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Association) is the professional association for students in the D-ITET and D-MAVT departments. It offers numerous services such as an electronics laboratory, job fairs, events, a magazine, and much more.
LIMES (Ladies in Mechanical and Electrical Studies) is the student committee for women, non-binary, inter- and transgender students and the first women's network in engineering at ETH Zurich. Since 2012, it has been promoting exchange and visibility of female-identified, non-binary, inter- and transgender persons in technical degree programmes.
VMITET is the association for mid-level faculty at the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. It represents the interests of research assistants and advocates for their concerns within the department.
VSETH is the umbrella organization for students at ETH Zurich. It represents around 10,000 students in dealings with the university and external organizations and offers a wide range of services, events, and opportunities for participation.
Catering and Sports
In addition to a wide range of options outside the ETH campus, the cafeterias and cafés at ETH and the external page cafeterias and cafés at the University of Zurich offer good catering options.
As Switzerland's largest academic sports association, the external page ASVZ offers a wide range of sports activities for students and members of ETH.
Scientific Writing, Plagiarism Prevention
When writing scientific papers and texts, both in studies and in research, the fundamental values and principles of scientific integrity must be observed. ETH helps students understand the rules.

Finding an apartment is not always easy, but in addition to student residences, there is also a wide range of options outside ETH.
