Two Awards: Successful PCIM Conference for D-ITET
Bastian Korthauer and Michel Nagel, both PhD students a D-ITET, have won awards at the PCIM Conference 2025 in Nuremberg. Bastian Korthauer from Prof. Jürgen Biela's Laboratory for High Power Electronic Systems (HPE) won the “Best Paper Award” while Michel Nagel, student in the Advanced Power Semiconductor Laboratory (APS) headed by Prof. Ulrike Grossner, received the “Outstanding Presentation Award”.
The Power Conversion and Intelligent Motion (PCIM) Conference 2025 in Nuremberg has been a very successful one for D-ITET. Bastian Korthauer has received a “Best Paper Award” for his thesis with the title “Improved Insulation Design of Medium-Frequency Transformers Using a Semiconductive Coil Former”. At the same conference, the paper of Michel Nagel with the title “Evidence of Frequency-dependent SiC Power MOSFET Capacitances in Switching Transients” has been chosen for the “Outstanding Presentation Award”. Congratulations to both!
